Santa Ana

The Costa Rican National Electric Company (CNFL) inaugurated this wind-powered project in 2012, and ever since it became a favorite local spot. Situated 1600 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a picnic while watching the sunset or simply enjoy a breath of fresh air while admiring the colossal mountains of the central valley.

Arenal Volcano

Visiting the magical area of La Fortuna is one of the things we highly recommend you do. From delicious gastronomical offers to thermal waters, hanging bridges, to Volcano hikes, this area really has it all!

Poás Volcano

One of the biggest craters in the world, this national park is only 30 minutes away from Alta las Palomas. Exuberant vegetation and dark volcanic sand will transport you to a place outside of this world.

Passghaleh coffee finca

Our very own pride and joy. Take a tour around our farm and learn where your food comes from. You can also meet the local farmers who help us produce the delicious and authentic Costa Rican coffee you enjoy at the hotel each day.

Centenaria Iglesia de Santa Ana

This is one of the oldest buildings in Costa Rica. Built back in 1870, this beautiful church is a historic landmark a few minutes away from our hotel and the source of many stories and legends.


Irazú Volcano

Another volcano located in the Central Valley. This is the highest active volcano in Costa Rica, standing at 3342 meters above sea level. From the top it is possible to see both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on a clear day, clear skies are rare all the way up there, but who knows, you might get lucky!

La Paz Waterfall

La Paz Waterfall is one of the visitors’ favorites. The waterfall is situated right beside the road but upstream from the waterfall is La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a hotel, and park, where visitors can observe many different species of local wildlife.

San José City Tour

 Explore the wonders hidden behind the walls of the local museums, try the local food and take a stroll through the city’s most emblematic landmarks. Taking a tour around Downtown San Jose is a must to understand the culture, history, and people of Costa Rica.
